We are working on a Help page, but we hope that our site is
intuitive in its design and that you'll easily find your
way around - try clicking a few links to get the hang of it.
Just remember that anybody can read and rate everything on our
sites, but you can't write your own items without registering.
We don't hold any details about you except your user name and
email address.
The yellow "Write" and "Edit/update" screen may need a little explanation:
When you click the -Save- button all the text boxes are saved on the central database,
but your form is left on display so you can carry on typing. This is to
encourage you to save your work frequently in case you suffer a mishap.
The database is often so quick that you may not notice, so Last saved:(time)
is shown at the top left of the form. It is possible to exit the form before
saving your latest additions, so check the time of the last save before you click
another link - or just click -Save- again to make sure (you can do it as
often as you like).
You don't have to write your item all in one go: it will be saved on the database, but
it won't be published on the Internet until you have ticked the "Publish on Internet" box -
so you can take as much time as you need to polish your article.
Note that the "Publish on Internet" check box won't save your tick unless the important test
boxes (marked with an asterisk*) have something in them AND you have ticked the "I
accept the Terms and Conditions" box.
